Gomoku - Professional version 4.0

The Gomoku application presents itself as a digital adaptation of the classic abstract strategy game also known as Gobang or Five in a Row. Traditionally, this game involves two players taking turns to place black and white stones on a go board, with the objective of forming an unbroken sequence of five stones in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The game begins with the rule that Black makes the first move, provided White has not just secured a win, with players alternating turns thereafter.

The professional version of Gomoku offers four gameplay modes designed to accommodate different player preferences and scenarios:

• Player versus computer, with the option for the player to make the initial move.
• Computer versus player, allowing the computer to start the game.
• Computer versus computer mode, suitable for observing automated matches and analyzing strategies.
• Player versus friend, enabling two human players to compete locally.
